Bests
Best thing someone said to me: When I was hired at 29 years old as the Senior Pastor of Trinity in Amarillo with only business experience, one of the elders in that meeting said, "You are a diamond in the rough, and we really believe in you."
My life Motto: Do the right thing, and God will honor you.
Two people I would like to meet: Jesus and John Wayne (sorry ladies)
An interesting fact about me: I've always been really afraid of bears. I had a bad encounter with a bear when I was a child and even as an adult had an irrational fear of them. It helped when we went to Africa for three weeks, and I was around a lot of even more deadly animals. But I still don't like them.
My Hero: Abraham Lincoln
