- Student Ministries
The years of junior high and high school are absolutely some of the most crucial years anyone faces. There are so many issues related to growth and development, peer pressure, choices, and identity. The only way to properly walk through all of these issues is to walk through them with Jesus, and Jesus wants to make you more like Him. Jesus wants you to become who He made you to be. He wants you to become you.
Who we are
Student Ministries is the perfect place for your teenagers. Once they arrive at the meetings, they are introduced to Jesus, the Word is preached, and there is a clear focus on developing a relationship with God.
Culture
Culture is a very important influence on this age group. We feel denying the cultural influences creates a disconnect from the church. Our goal at student ministries is to infuse the teen culture with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Security
It's important that nothing hinder what happens at each meeting. Safety and security is a huge priority for us. We are blessed to have a wonderful group of dedicated staff and volunteers at every meeting ensuring the safety and security of every person.
Our Events
We host all of our events so that students can get away from everyday life and focus on God through prayer, build community through conversation with each other, and be discipled in a Godly manner through intentional relationship with our staff and volunteers.
In correspondence with our belief that discipleship happens best on a small scale, most of our events accommodate no more than 40 students. These small-scale events are not only more supportive of both discipleship and community, they also ensure that the majority of the events we offer remain easily affordable.
Our Services
Every service we host includes a time of corporate worship and a sermon with Jr. High and High school students together in the same room. We then split into age and gender specific small groups to give students an opportunity to discuss their experience in worship, ask questions about the sermon, and talk or pray with their group leader about anything in their personal lives.
Our Staff
As a staff our job is to identify, reach, grow and release the students of this church as adults who have have consistently experienced prayer, discipleship and community during their time in this ministry.
We do everything we do in order to support these principals. We know that we should lead foremost by example and we live our lives in a way that is above reproach and ultimately pleasing to God.
Volunteering
The most important thing a student can have is someone to look up to. Whether they realize it or not, the influence of a godly mentor is something that a student will never forget.
Our volunteers do anything from leading a small group to providing security or simply mentoring a single student and live their lives in a way that is above reproach and consistant with 1 Timothy 3:8-12.
There is always a student who hasn't been reached, and our ministry would not function without continual help from members of this congregation. If you have a heart for seeing the kingdom of God realized in this generation, please consider filling out an application to volunteer in the Student Ministries department.

About The Pastors
Daniel Proffitt
My favorite thing to see is the "light" come on for a student. When a person connects on a deeper level with the Spirit regarding the truth of who they are along with the truth of who God is, the transformational result is remarkable. You are literally watching Paul's prayer in Ephesians 1 come to fruition.
