Outreach
Downtown right next to the library you see him. His beard, long, wiry and gray, tells his tale. The sun soaked wrinkles perk up as he smiles. His coat exposes the marled white stuffing coming out up by the collar. This man needs help. Who will go?
We believe it's our responsibility to affect the territory around us. What does that mean? It means we reach out. We want to help the hurting, disheartened, and destitute.
It's an example given to us by Jesus. He loved and helped all. We love the widows; we reach out to the orphans; and we believe you have a part to play.
We are an outreach church. Our philosophy, since our beginning, has been to help those around us, through local outreaches, as well as all around the world through global outreaches.
YOU
We know you might be thinking, "What about me?" We want you to know we have a variety of places for you to get help too. There are trained counselors who want to sit down and talk to you about your problems. We know you might need healing in your own life. We are here for you.
YOUR COMMUNITY
We are committed to this community. In addition to various personal outreaches the body of our church does, there are various church-wide outreaches we think are important. Our philosophy is pinpointing an area to make a dramatic impact.
THE WORLD
We provide many ways to help you get involved in missions on a world-wide level. You can go to Africa, Nicaragua, or Mexico. We offer many different trips to fit where you are in life and what you are doing: there are short-term and long term missions. We would love to have you come and help!
