Bethesda
Bethesda Outreach Center provides temporary assistance with food, clothing and financial help to individuals and families in need. These services are provided in a Christian environment under the guidance of biblical principles.
The outreach began as a "Garage Free" program, similar to a garage sale, but all the items were free. In 1988, Trinity Fellowship purchased and renovated a large building that was formerly a coffin company and Bethesda Outreach Center was born.
What began as a vision now helps meet the needs of over 6,000 families annually. Bethesda Outreach Center is a nonprofit organization, staffed primarily by volunteers, and receives no government funding. Operating funds and oversight are provided by Trinity Fellowship, with additional support provided by local churches and individuals through charitable contributions. At Bethesda we provide a way for concerned churches and individuals to receive the joy of giving by strategically blessing those in need. This is a great opportunity to volunteer and get involved in the local mission field in Amarillo all year long.
Participating with Bethesda Outreach Center through volunteer work or donations can bless you, your church, your business and your city. For more information, contact us at 806-383-6990.
