Trinity Fellowship’s North Campus

New North Campus

God has opened the doors for us to begin a satellite campus in north Amarillo, and we are very excited about it!  The church is located at 503 E. Willow Creek Drive, and was formerly River Road Fellowship.

On Sunday, June 5, at 10:00 a.m., we will hold our first service at this location, and we want to invite anyone with a heart for this area to attend.

Our services at North Campus will include live worship led by a Trinity worship leader. Preaching on most Sundays will be Pastor Jimmy’s message delivered by video; on occasion there will be live preaching.  Children’s ministry will be conducted by Trinity pastors.

Please look through our Frequently Asked Questions section to find answers to any further questions you may have. Also, if you live in north Amarillo or have a heart for this area, please call 806.355.8955 to find out how you can get involved.

FAQ’s

Q. How did this opportunity to open a satellite campus come about?
A. River Road Fellowship has a long and good history as a church, but in recent years the size of their congregation had declined.   Their elders set up a meeting with some of our pastors to talk about the future of their church. As they reviewed some options, the possibility of River Road becoming a satellite campus of Trinity Fellowship was discussed. After a lot of prayer and further discussions, the leaders of both churches felt it was the right step to take. On May 22, the proposal went to a congregational vote, and the majority of the River Road Fellowship members voted yes. So effective June 1, 2011 the church at 503 E. Willow Creek Drive became Trinity Fellowship North Campus.

Q.  How many people live in the area surrounding North Campus?
A.  There are 17,000 Amarilloans who live in the 79108 zip code - most of whom do not know the Lord or who are unchurched.  That’s why this is such an incredible opportunity to unite with a congregation of this neighborhood to reach this part of Amarillo.

Q.  I understand that the preaching will be done by Pastor Jimmy by video, but who will be the pastor of North Campus on a daily basis?
A.  Sometime this summer, a full-time campus pastor will be designated, and will begin the daily and weekly supervision of all aspects of the satellite campus.

Q. What do the facilities include?
A. The sanctuary at North Campus has a capacity of about 600 people. There’s also a fellowship hall and children’s wing.  The property encompasses 14 acres with a creek running through it, lots of trees, and an array of wildlife including turkey, deer, squirrels, and birds.

Q.  What kind of ministry opportunities will be available if I want to get involved?
A.  As this Trinity congregation in north Amarillo takes shape, we will be developing all aspects of ministry including live worship, video messages, children’s ministry, greeters, ushers, communion teams, altar ministry, etc. To learn more about getting involved, please call 806.355.8955.
